Of course if you could, there will be flowers and decor every where for your wedding. For most of us in the 98% of the population, we have can’t have it all. We have to choose but the goal is to choose your wedding decor wisely. The areas that will be photographed the most are the areas you want to invest your wedding budget into to ensure your wedding photos are EPIC! The same logic applies if you have a 5k wedding decor budget or 10k wedding decor budget. Choose wisely!
Here are the key places to make the best use of your wedding decor:
Ceremony
Focus on the altar and the end of the aisle. The altar for obvious reason. The end of the aisle usually ends up in photos. When you are going down the aisle, photographers like to take a picture of you walking towards the altar. When you come back down the aisle as a newly married couple, there is always a great shot of a couple smiling and kissing at the end of the aisle. Having your wedding decor in the background

Sweetheart Table
I always always always make sure to add a little more of your wedding decor budget to your sweetheart table. Majority of your reception photos will take place at your sweetheart table. Your family and friends will also take pictures of you and with you there. Your sweetheart table is the perfect photo backdrop.

Dance Floor
As your guests are dancing the night away, photographs and video will be taken. Most of the days events will happen on your dance floor. It is the perfect focal point. You can do a dance floor wrap or ceiling installation. Or you can simply ensure the tables closest to the dance floor are your show stopping floral centerpieces.
For this Brooklyn Loft Wedding, we did a little of both. The estate Table was right off the dance floor with a dance floor wrap featuring the couples monogram.
Bonus Areas
There are also other places to highlight with wedding decor for the purpose of having a picture perfect moment. Your getting ready room, the entrance to your venue, dj/band area or a dramatic staircase. Your venue of choice may also have an area that would be perfect to stage picture perfect moments.
The most important thing to remember is getting the best use of your decor. When you look back at your wedding photos, you should remember all the beautiful details of the day!
