Although 2020 has been a hell of a year, I still have so many things to be grateful for. Many moments that made me laugh and memories to cherish. So here are some highlights of 2020 despite all the bad.
On March 13th I had my last event or what I thought would be my last event of the year. NYC shut down. All my meetings were canceled and eventually, all of my events were postponed. At first, I was losing my mind but then I told myself, SELF don’t stop now. I’ve been through the 2008 recession. I remember how I felt during that time. I felt defeated and helpless. I was just starting out and then BOOM, the world collapsed. I gave up on myself really fast and it took me a long time to get my groove back. I promised myself I would not let that happen this time. I am going to keep pushing myself and I’m so glad I did. Some amazing things still happened and some Fabulous things are coming in 2021! Stay tuned!!
I know this year has been one we will never forget but the biggest lesson we should all learn is to appreciate what you have. I’ve always expressed my gratitude for what I have but I don’t think I’ve ever thanked God as much as I have this year. If you are reading this, I am grateful for you. I’m grateful you took the time to stop by and read my blog. Thank you for your support. Stay strong, stay positive and be grateful!
