Most couples take 12 to 18 months on average to plan their wedding. During this time, life still happens and unfortunately not so great happenstance can happen as well. These unfortunate incidents that are out of your control may cause you to delay or cancel your wedding after you have invested thousands of dollars into your wedding.
Imagine, your wedding is planned. The venue is paid in full, your vendors are booked and paid for, you are all set to get married. The. BOOM! You break your leg just weeks before your wedding. You can’t walk, dance or anything. This is why you need wedding insurance. In the words of Chris Rock, in case shit happens.
What Is Wedding Insurance?
Basically, wedding insurance protects your investment from circumstances beyond your control, and reimburses expenses incurred.
How Much Does Wedding Insurance Cost?
A basic insurance policy that covers loss of photos, videos, attire, presents, rings and deposits usually costs anywhere between $155 and $550, depending on the amount of coverage you want. General liability insurance, which covers up to $1,000,000 for accidents, costs around $185.
Why You Should Invest In Wedding Insurance?
I repeat; In case shit happens. In all my years of planning weddings and events, I’ve had two weddings that ran into issues where wedding insurance was needed. Yeah, it was only two but do you want to be the 2 out of the many that didn’t have insurance? I think not. Not to scare you but here are incidents that may cause you need wedding insurance
Wedding insurance does not cover cold feet but you are covered on all the others. So basically get the insurance. You would rather have it and not need than need it and not have it.
I hope this helps. Have a Fabulous Day!!
