If you haven’t booked a wedding venue as yet, you should jump on it right away. What’s the rush you ask?
Because many 2020 couples will be 2021 couples. They had to postpone their weddings and some have chosen to push back a whole year. This means availability will be limited. So if you have a date, month, or season in mind you need to check on your venue’s availability.
How do you book when businesses are closed?
Here’s how:
-
Venues are doing virtual tours and some may even conduct one on one tours. Please remember you are supposed to be safe at home.
-
Your planner (which you should hire one) can give you recommendations based on your preferences.
-
Check for pictures of real weddings on Instagram and Pinterest
ProTip – Be open to other days of the week. Don’t think for a minute that your Wednesday wedding won’t be as LIT as a Saturday wedding.
Your wedding vendors are also going to have an influx of 2021 brides so if you have a favorite photographer/video/DJ/Makeup Artist/etc………..
You should book them as soon as you can as well. Vendors will be an easier process for booking as most wedding vendors already conduct consultations via video conference and phone calls. Booking your wedding vendors will be business as usual.
The goal is to get on their calendar!
-
Schedule a consultation
-
Review their reviews from past clients
-
Again, ask your planner for recommendations
Pro Tip – If your favorite wedding vendor is not available for your wedding, don’t be shy to ask for a recommendation. Good people know good people.
