I received a call from Jessica & Brian’s wedding planner, Chelsea Russell 3 weeks before their wedding date and asked me if I was available to design and provide wedding day flowers for their wedding. I was so happy and jumped at the chance to create wedding day magic again.
Jessica requested anemones for her bouquet. She absolutely loved them and had to have them. So I designed a garden-style bouquet with white and black anemones, white roses, and deep burgundy dahlias. It was just like Jessica, naturally beautiful.
The ceremony arch was custom-built by Jolie Studio . The craftsmanship was amazing. I loved creating this greenery and white wedding flowers for the arch.
The vision for their wedding design was rustic, chic, and glam for their intimate wedding of 30 people. And of course, lots and lots of candles. I loved designing their wedding day flowers. The best part was collaborating with Jolie Studio to bring their wedding vision to life. For the reception, we adorned the farm tables with greenery runners made of eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, white flowers, and deep burgundy flowers to tie back to Jessica’s garden-style bouquet. Then we added as many candles as the tables would allow. I love a candlelight wedding.
My favorite part of the wedding design came just 2 days before the wedding. Jessica decided she wanted to drape the entire room. When I heard this, I was immediately inspired by Jessica’s love of candles so I decided to add an extra romantic glow by hanging globes with tealights all around the room. It was the perfect touch.
No wedding is complete without the right team of people. It was very important to Jessica and Briand to hire as many black-owned wedding businesses as possible for their wedding.
