The festivities kicked off upon arrival in Cancun. Guests started to arrive days before the wedding so they can enjoy all of what Cancun had to offer. As guests checked in, they were given their welcome bags filled with Mexican snacks, some essentials, customized cups and a wedding magazine designed by LePenn Designs. Each day, the bride, groom and their guests enjoyed quality time by the pool, shared meals at one of the many restaurants located on the HardRock property or just chilled at the pool.
The day before the wedding, the happy couple hosted a welcome cocktail party. It was a fun, casual evening filled with love. You could fill the excitement in the air. Guests gathered for cocktails, food and music on the Garden Terrace.
And then the wedding day was just magical! The beach ceremony happened during the most perfect time of the day. Right before the sun started to set.
The ocean breeze was perfect and the sky looked like a painting.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at sunset on the appropriately named Sunset Terrace of the Hard Rock Hotel.
My favorite part of the night was the couple’s first dance. This was a well orchestrated moment. It took perfect timing from all the vendors. The makeup artist did a touch up as the bride changed into her reception dress. I signaled the DJ to clear the dance floor and que the music. The production company fired up the pyro effects just as the couple got to the middle of the dance floor. It was an EPIC. You can hear all the guests gasp with delight.
My days in Cancun were busy and long but I loved every minute of it. Who wouldn’t love planning a wedding a beautiful hotel and waking up to a gorgeous beach view every day. The best part about about this destination wedding, was watching my lovely couple fully enjoy their wedding experience, spend time with their family and friends and take it all in. No wedding is complete without an amazing vendor team! It was such a pleasure working with each and every one of them.
